This book was creatively written and very inspirational. I would recommend several books, also available for free, by Albert G. Harnessing Timothy Dow Adams' concept of "strategic lying," the chapter follows Bukowski's thinly veiled personae through three stages-first through the attention-getting "Dirty Old Man," then responding to the attention and (re)defining himself, finally culminating in "Henry Chinaski," the hero of Bukowski's five autobiographical novels. I was disappointed to find out the book was black and white. There are a number of small points in the book that will date the writing to around 1950, but the theme, powerful ideas, and superb writing make this a worthy read in the twenty-first century for anyone who enjoys science fiction. Including some forms in the back was a nice gesture on the author's part but honestly including legal forms had to be a bit restricting. A good read and I definitely can't wait for the next book in the series, great job Nancy Naigle and Kelsey Browning. I love Debbie Macomber and have been an avid reader (and will continue to be) however this book seemed rushed and too quick to tie things up without much of a reason to do so.
